Educational Qualifications: Candidates should meet certain educational qualifications, professional certification as well as skill specialization.

Reputation and Background: Those who have good credit scores and work experience are likely to have their applications approved.

Company Sponsorship: The employing company must be registered in Singapore and valid for operation in the country with relevant regulatory bodies.

Preparation of Documents: Collect relevant records such as educational certificates for the applicant, his or her contract of employment and photocopy of passport.

Submission of Application: The EP application can be made either through the website of Singapore Ministry of Manpower or through the appointed employment agency.

Processing Time: The duration of the processing of an EP application normally takes approximately 3 to 8 weeks. But it may differ depending on the specificities of the case at hand and the current overload of work.

Outcome Notification: The applicant will be informed of the results once the application has been reviewed and approved. Upon approval, an In-Principal Approval (IPA) letter will be provided.

Issuance of Pass: Having received the IPA letter, the applicant must arrange a visit to the Employment Pass Services Centre (EPSC) to proceed with the necessary paperwork and collect the pass.
