Australia Subclass 190 Visa

Make Australia Home with the 190 Visa: Trusted Immigration Help!

  1. About Australia Skilled Nominated Visa:

The Australia 190 Visa is also known as the Skilled Nominated Visa (Subclass 190), it’s basically a type of visa offered by the Australian government for skilled workers who are nominated by a state or territory government. This visa option allows skilled workers to live and work permanently in Australia without having many restrictions. In order to get eligible for the 190 Visa, applicants need to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) through the online SkillSelect system and thereafter they’ll get invited to apply by a state or territory government agency. The invitation is completely based on factors such as the applicant's occupation, skills, work experience, and other relevant criteria.
  2. Eligibility Criteria For Australia 190 Visa:

    • Test of points: Applicants need to score a minimum number of points on the points test. Points are awarded based on factors such as age, English language proficiency, work experience, education qualifications, and other relevant criteria.

    • Nominated by a State or Territory: Applicants need to be nominated by a state or territory government agency in Australia. Each state and territory has its own list of occupations in demand and specific criteria for nomination.

    • Proficiency In English Language: Applicants need to demonstrate proficiency in the English language by providing evidence of achieving the required scores in an approved English language test such as IELTS, PTE Academic, TOEFL iBT, or Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE).

    • Requirements For Health and Character: Applicants and any accompanying family members must meet certain health and character requirements. This will surely involve undergoing medical examinations and also providing police clearance certificates from countries where they have lived for a certain period.

    • Expression of Interest (EOI): Applicants must submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) through the online SkillSelect system and be invited to apply for the visa by the Australian government.

  3. Application Process For Australia 190 Visa:

    • You need to obtain a positive skills assessment from the relevant assessing authority for your nominated occupation. This assessment actually verifies that your qualifications and work experience should meet the Australian standards for the occupation purpose.

    • It’s essential to take an approved English language test like IELTS, PTE Academic, TOEFL iBT, or Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE) and achieve the required scores to demonstrate proficiency in English.

    • Make sure to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) through the online SkillSelect system. Provide details about your skills, qualifications, and work experience, along with other relevant information. Your EOI will be ranked based on the points you score, and if you meet the requirements, you may also receive an invitation to apply for the visa.

    • If you are invited to apply for a visa, you need to be nominated by a state or territory government agency in the country. Each state and territory has its own list of occupations in demand and specific criteria for nomination. Once you get nominated, you will receive a nomination certificate along with approval from the relevant state or territory government.

    • Collect all the necessary documents that actually support your visa application. These may include identity documents, educational certificates, employment references, skills assessment results, English language test results, and other relevant documents that are required.
