Secure a valid job offer from a Canadian employer participating in the Canada Caregivers Program to work as either a home child care provider or a home support worker. The job offer must meet the requirements of the Caregivers Visa Program and be supported by a positive Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) or an LMIA exemption.

Once you have secured a job offer, apply for a work permit through the Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) website or at a Canadian visa office in your home country. You will need to provide proof of your job offer, along with other required documents and fees.

Submit a complete application for a work permit under the Canada Caregivers Program, including all required documents and fees. The application will be assessed based on factors such as your job offer, work experience, language proficiency, and admissibility to Canada.

After submitting your work permit application, you and your accompanying family members may be required to undergo medical examinations by designated panel physicians and obtain police clearance certificates from all countries where you have lived for six months or longer since the age of 18.
